Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Maroof LLC ("Mailiya", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website, console, APIs, and template marketplace (the "Service"). It covers both our own customers and, where relevant, the recipients of email sent through the Service.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and account settings.
- Sending data — the messages you send through the Service, including recipient addresses, subject and body, and delivery events (accepted, delivered, bounced, complained). You are the controller of your recipient data; we process it on your behalf.
- Marketplace data — templates you create, list, buy, and the associated purchase records.
- Technical data — logs necessary to operate and secure the Service (for example, IP addresses and timestamps of API requests).
2. How we use data
- To provide, secure, and improve the Service (including delivering your email).
- To authenticate you and protect against fraud and abuse.
- To maintain sending reputation, process bounces and complaints, and enforce our policies.
- To communicate with you about your account and important service changes.
- To process payments and marketplace transactions.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your email content to build advertising profiles.
3. Sharing and sub-processors
We share data only as needed to run the Service — for example with infrastructure and payment providers acting on our behalf under contract, or when required by law. Mailbox providers necessarily receive the email you send them for delivery. We do not otherwise disclose your data to third parties for their own purposes.
4. Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Sending logs and delivery events are retained for a limited period to support deliverability, troubleshooting, and abuse handling, then deleted or aggregated. You can request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention duties).
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, scoped API credentials, and isolation of each customer's data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise a right, contact us at support@mailiya.com. Recipients of email should direct requests to the sender (our customer), who controls that data; we will assist our customer as a processor.
7. International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time and will provide notice of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
